We have finally been able to get out and about around our home and explore a bit in the evenings, just as things are starting to bloom. I use a lot of floral and plant elements in my personal work, so these expeditions being asset collection time!

The beginnings of an identity for a series of Gocco printed cards I am currently working on.

A recent huge team project at Minneapolis Ad Agency Colle+McVoy, where I continue to be a member of the design team on this ongoing, and ever expanding project for the Regional Boating and Fishing Foundation. I was a part of the initial concepting phase, and helped develop this design direction, managing and creating all of the illustrations in the How to Fish section – learning all about fishing along the way! Planning a wedding put me right in my element - spreadsheets, details and OCD moments galore was three months of planning heaven for me! We went all hand done with our invites, place-cards, programs and thank-yous, using hand cut linoleum patterns, stickers and rivets to create a simple, yet bright system that reflects us as a couple.

The Grand Avenue Business Association invited me to submit a concept for one of their events - A Taste of Grand Restyled. I combined classic typography with a modernized menu element and funky script to create an interesting mix of new and old.

I created the naming, positioning and branding for BLogical Solutions, a custom data management business based in the UK. Their ability to fully customize and organize multiple forms of data and information lead to a friendly identity with a hint of technology built in.

For the 2007 AIGA Minnesota Student Portfolio One-on-One Conference I created a visual system focusing on the growth of the students and cross-pollination of ideas during the event. Using whimsical typographic details and a bright, yet natural color palette the poster was the first point of contact with attendees, and the basis for the rest of the visual system for the event.
